Hi Aisha I am sorry to bother you I know you probably dont remember my thread but i would like a lil advice if you got time... On the sixth of this month in 2 days i have abig party to dance for ... Im not really getting a good vibe fom these people .. i speakspanish andi heard them talking about me in a demeaning way to my face when they thought i did not understand they said i was a hindu dancer and indian though i clearly stated middle eastern dance and said how what whens and every thing I am getting a very bad vibe that i am being asked to dance there as a joke rather than a dancer ... I have agreed to dance 30 min at this private party about a month ago ... is it so unproffession to cancel when you are feellllinggg as if you are being paid to be there clown ? Its very demeaning to the dance and to me as a person what should i do in your opinion ... I respect your opinion . and the sooner you answer the better haha. thank you.
That's great! My regular email is enchantmentunlimited@prodigy.net and snail mail: 501 W 16th Street, La Center WA 98629.
I'm happy to pass on fliers to my students as well as other local dancers.
    Thanks!

    Hi Aisah,

Thanks! I'm in La Center, just north of Vancouver. Saqra IS a sweetie - I've already talked to her about teaching some of her workshop series there. We were actually in Seattle over the weekend, and it's not a bad drive. I'm fine with road time in the name of dance! :)

How far is Spokane from Seattle? Or Vancouver?? Let me know if there are any big dance events in your area. I'm always happy to go to dance events - I still even go down to CA for events.

I think it would be great to meet. And thanks for the 'hi' :)

hello A,isha dear...i just posted 2 clips that i wanted you to see for a long time just did not have time to convert them but they are in now...regards hugz Lydia
    Hi Aisha,

I noticed your bio says you're from the Pacific Northwest, and I've just moved to that area. What city are you in?

Finding other dancers with decades of experience is one of my current goals. I've been dancing almost 30 years, and really appreciate other dancers with that kind of time in.

I've been in touch with Saqra and am going to be teaching a workshop for one of her monthly events, so that's a start, but since I'm starting over with nothing here, I can use all the friends I can get :)

    Thanks
    Jana
Hello A'isha, i have a favor to ask. I'm scheduled to perfom a solo routine in place of our troupe in August. Ther's a song that i love as it moves my spirit. It'sa called Se'aa Bi Kub Al Habib. it's composed by Farid Al Atrash. I've been searching for a translation without much luck. I want to truly dance to the song and it's meaning. Do you know of a translation? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
