Default Turkish dance from YouTube

Some of these have been posted before in separate threads, but I thought I would put them together. (Be aware that if you watch these clips back to back, you might get a little sick of hearing the same song, LOL!) I am no expert on Turkish dance, but these clips seem like the real deal to me

Oryantal Star dancer, Reyhan (???)

DIDEM (performing Turkish style, not the AmCab/fusion she sometimes does)

SEMA YILDIZ (Maria Aya posted this already )

**Maybe not the "real deal," but soooooo cute & funny- I love it!**

Default and one from Google Video....

I don't know if she's doing Turkish style (it's hard to tell in drum solos anyway, IMO), but she *is* Turkish- and she's fantastic!

Didem is such a joy to watch - like a young puppy with all the skills in place and her body is great for seeing the torso movement !

Actually she is *NOT* Turkish - she is Russian girl named Olga Roussina who has danced in Istanbul Orient House for many years with name Oya Man: she is great though

And thanks for those Roman Havasi clips of Didem: at this style she is superb...

I am not so sure about that comedy clip by dancer Eylül anyway as the actors of show Avrupa Yakası (European Side) for sure are doing comedy, but Eylül is like that always so I am afraid that she is dead serious
BTW this clip is from last New Year show where they always include dancers - previous year there was Tanyeli

Thank you for the information, Kiraze! Haha, I should know better by now than to assume someone is a native if they are performing in a certain country :o She is a nice dancer, and I want her costume!!!!!!

You are welcome! I like her in this style, too.

Ah yes, I've seen "serious" videos of Eylul on YouTube before, and I think you're right, lol. I loved this clip mostly for the show characters trying to copy her moves- they just crack me up!!!

Nice clips Yasmilah!
Except for the comedy, I didn't like that (well the actors were funny, but not the dancer. Especially not if she's always like that . She looked like she was getting electric shocks at some moments)

As Hale posted a clip of her friend Ahmet then naturally we must see also her dancing (welcome to forum, Hale! ) - here are some clips from her fantastic performance in Singapore (unfortunately I did not know she was here so I missed the show myself):

Which girl are we talking about here? The girl from the google link yasminah put up is Birgul Beray, and she is Turkish. She's very good but there are hardly any video's of her anywhere. She's a regular at the Orient House in Istanbul.

The second video sadly has no sound and it's of her performing on the Beyaz show on Turkish TV.
