Hale is on this forum?!?!? Her videos impressed me SO much, me and my Mum haven't stopped watching these clips since we first saw them. Its like she becomes part of the music, I couldnt tell weather she was dancing in-sync with the music or the music playing in-sync with her . Hale if you're reading: YOU'RE GREAT, WE WANT TO SEE MORE DANCING! ![]() |

Dear Gang,
Nice to see all of these clips. I have taken classes in Turkish belly dance off and on for just about as long as I have been dancing, but have only gotten more serious about it in the last couple of years, having devoted my life to studying Egyptian style. I fear that I do not have enough time left as a dancer to really learn the style in depth, but I do love it. My favorite Turkish dancers are Burghul Beray and Sema Yildiz. Has Burghul been around for a very long time, or is it just me miscalculating? Regards, A'isha |

![]() And PS - i would appreciate her name to be spelled correctly as after all Turkish is written with "western" alphabet - ü can be replaced with u but otherwise letters are similar (and btw Birgül means "one rose" so misspelling causes also to loose the meaning of the name) |

Dear Kiraze, Since both the Turkish and Arabic alphabet do not coincide with the English one, spelling is something that we ALL do the best we can with. For example, we have no U with the little dots above it. I saw her name spelled that way on a TURKISH video. There is no "Correct" way to spell MY name in English either. Regards A'isha or Ayeeshah or Aisheh or A'ishah |

Dear Turkishboy,
Although I do not know Turkish belly dance the way I do Egyptian, I loved her from the first time I saw a video of her. She may not be the most popular, but I also think she is one of the best! And thank you for spelling my name in the Turkish way! I like it! Regards, Ayse (Can't make the little accent below the s) |
