so i have a question for others who have posted videos to youtube...have you ever had someone message you with what seem to be inappropriate remarks? i'm torn between trying to educate this person and at the same time i am uncomfortable and not sure if i'm reading too much into it...argh. i really don't want to stop doing the blog, so i'm really not sure what to do since this issue may come up again...

I don't have any experience with YouTube, either, and I've only put up one vid so far. But isn't there a way to let only friends that you know make comments? I think you can allow up to 25 friends, but I'm not sure, have to check the account settings again.

the 25 is to make the video private. and he's not commenting, he's sending private messages. my husband says to just ignore him and go on my merry way, so i think that's what i'm gonna do. from the looks of his page he's a middle-aged republican conspiracy-theorist, so he's probably just kinda ignorant.

sorry your video experience didn't go well. and tell your hubby i have already attracted the kook, so you're safe!

Just delete and ignore. Most of the admiring comments about dancing are also pervy. As you can see that beginners are the best ever, so unless you think yuo can tell poster is a dancer, ignore everything

And the best thing to do is to click " disable comments". If U want only comments of those people who are seeing ur belly blog here. But If U want comments from any youtube watcher, then U should be ready for any comment, and you can cross with anyhting in this case. I've also watched ur video

he's not commenting, thank goodness. he's sending private messages about how deliciously my tummy jiggiles, and asking why we don't call it tummy dancing. after talking with my hubby, gonna just delete the messages. thanks everyone for your input. i feel better now.
