Very colourful, are they real weddings or a stage show representative of weddings? If they are actual weddings they must be very expensive.

I have seen a wedding from afar, it went on for three nights, lights blazing and loud music, and that shrill cry the women do, a cry I understand as originally a battle cry.

No that's a zaghareet, only Xenia the Warrior Princess used it as a battle cry!!LOL
It's a sound of celebration, an exhortation signalling a joyous event.
