There are very good teachers who teach this dance: Aisha Ali, Helene Eriksen, and Habiba off the top of my head. It's a folk dance style that shares some movements with belly dance. Here's some workshop info for Aisha Ali. She also has DVDs and companion CDs out on North African dance.

I have the DVD that Zahra is dancing, its from Adam Basma Show.
My question is this:
I had been told years ago that Sidi Mansour was a Syrian Song, after this DVD i'm so puzzled as dont know what to do, is it for real Tynissian? or its artist freedom using it?
Any answer?

All references I can find are to it being a tunisian folksong, which incidentally has lots of love stuff in it so no need to worry about it bein religious song

Ok i found the lyrics and translation from another forum. Now someone posted that it is asong about love and not religion. But the translation has clear religious overtones. What exactly is the context of the lyrics, that is if anyone knows:

{well serigios this song doesn't belong to hakim it belongs to a tunisian singer called "saber" and you're lucky it's in tunisian i'll do it for you
first of all i want to make something clear for you
sidi mansour means a very good person(dead) ,a model in terms of religion that people visit the place where he is berried to ask god for forgivness or a gift
it's a wrong thing and it's forbidden in our religion but it has become a tradition that old people used to do in the past
sidi=my master
mansour=is the name of the good person
