Thank you, Maylynn! This dance is pretty much my life. Of course I am always looking to improve! This was taken last December. Other vids are up now!

The music I have on the video here is called Mount Wroclai by a band named Beirut. My other one is Hely Meli (Come and Sway Towards Me):

I don't like the above one as much because I was really rushed and then *wham* onstage! I also made the mistake of doing the floor backbend toward the audience (I know better, yeesh!). And what's with my crazy wrist circles?! LOL

Here's everyone goofing off during the open dance part of the hafla:

Someone recently told me I dance in a very 'vintage' way and my looks are also 'vintage', so I should try costuming the vintage style? She said I reminded her a lot of Suheir Zaki, and showed me this:

Hi girl. You still need to practice a lot to be a good belly dancer. I'm not sure the song is not arabic, and you wear an arabic costume !! your hands are going wrong and seriously, acting up when you try to control them. You have to feel the music. But as a beginner, Not bad.
Accept my criticism.

Hi,

Are you referring to Wroclai? I know it isn't Arabic. That's why I called it 'fusion'. I am working on the arm movements.

I really enjoyed the video's. I loved your graceful movements and your costume. Green is a great color on you. I also liked the group dance. Was that Devra dancing with you? It looked like a blast and thankyou for sharing the videos with us.
