Default Syrian folklore

This is taken from a Ramadan 2007 drama series, it's made to look like it took place in the early 20th century.

Looks like a lot of fun, I would have loved to see more especially the dancers full body movements.

I don't think there's any, this is closest to how Syrian women used to dance back then.

cute! i like her arm movements! i wonder what series is this? this is why i like to find out in arabic movies and tv series based on a little story like this one.

Very interesting clip.
Have some similarities with the greek chifteteli style of the same era.
Back then the countries of the east mediterenean had so many things in common, travelling, working, living at other places, the countries borders wasnt as clear as today, so also music and dance was traveling.
was just beautifull
