Sadie is coming to the UK next year: kasbah4_24th_march_2007

I've been to Vivienne's Kasbah event twice in recent years and had a really good time.

I like that first video clip, indeed amazing isolations! That costume is the same one as Suhaila is wearing in one of her old videos.

Is she very popular? Seeing her dance is a new experience for me, I would like to see more of her!

I wanted to post this video and decided to search for it first, and I found this thread.

I love how sharp yet entirely feminine Sadie's movements are in drum solos. I'm still too flowy and haven't nailed the crispness she has. I've got her workout/practice DVD, and she's got a killer strengthening workout near the beginning. She is pretty much my physical ideal; I wish my body looked like hers (and might before it's over with)!

Whilst I agree that she has amazing control and skill - I don't like this as I prefer flowing to locks and pops. She can do both - but this to me is showing off

Firstly Jen, performers show off..that's what they do.
BUT I agree flowing before tricks. I find the whole performance too busy but then that I know is because I am totally "Egyptified" and can't be doing with an a performance that doesn't have that relaxed, "this is so easy to me" essense of dancers from "over there ...eastwise".
She's absolutetly beautiful, ceratinly can dance but just has too much going on for me ...and .... oh no is that zills I spy in her hands..aaargghhhh.

Oh agreed - but Egyptian showing off is much less relentless isn't it.

Relentless..that's the word. Some performances some wear you out watching them.
