I'm surprised to hear that he was raised in Zahle. I heard him speaking on a radio interview where he himself said he was born in New York City and raised in Colombia. His only claim to "lebaneseness" were his grandparents on his father's side who emigrated to Colombia in the early 20th century.
Correction: He doesn't specify in the interview which of his grandparents were Lebanese.
