Default Male Teacher

hi Youtube addicts, check out this clip of a choreograph being taught in real time. Asi Haskal is his name(?) and he's speaking Arabic, but the language of dance requires no interpretation. Enjoy.

Wonderful Yasmine
That was quite easy to follow, despite the only part I understood was "shimmy, shimmy" and some counting

Thanks Yasmine! If only all video instruction was as good as this...

So now all I need is one of those big plasma screens and I've got my own workshop! ... I knew there was something missing from my micro-studio plans, where's my Christmas list?

You're all very welcome. His moves are so clear and concise it's easy to follow along. I like his choreography too, very Egyptian in essence.

His name is Asi. He's Israeli, but his style is very Egyptian. I think he grew up near the boarder. I met him a very long time ago in NYC when he was visiting.

Cool clip! But can someone fiugre out what kind of a shimmy is he doing during the step he teaches at the 4th minute? It looks as if it was hip horizontal...? or maybe I am just imagining
