Alright I won't spam the forum anymore with my own videos after this lol, but my boyfriend just got a new camera that films in high definition and I danced at my 4th One World put on by the University that I went to. They invited me back:D Anyway I had two performances that evening, Caribbean Fusion and Egyptian.

It's my first time seeing my dancing in high def and I love it. it's like when you put your glasses on for the first time, a whole new world:cool:

Caribbean Fusion (first half of show)

"Baladi Sangaran" by Mario Kirlis

if you watch them on youtube you can select 1080 high def where is says 360p :)

The Caribbean fusion costume is homemade. Thanks grams for the skirts:)

The second is a Hoda Zaki, although the white underskirt is made by my Grandma!

Wow, I just took a look at it again in high def... very awesome! I got an HD camera for Christmas and it's not that good, but better than my older one at least. I am still trying to figure out the settings for editing/compressing the videos so I haven't used it to its fullest potential anyway.
What camera does your boyfriend have?

It's a Cannon 7D with a 24-105F4 EFL lense (????) All of that is way over my head. It also has a microphone add-on which doesn't pick up surrounding sound or any sound behind it well. It picks up the sound from the stage well though which I guess is good for quality of audio in video, but makes me a bit sad that you can barely hear the audience

I looove your Caribbean fusion! I wish there was more of it. I have a background in Caribbean and reggae also and hip hop (not classical hip hop but the stuff we do on the "streets") and will someday probably do some fusing off my own. You did just enough to keep it 50/50 and not get too extravagant, as we all know those styles can get. It was hooot!

 Oooooo, that's a serious piece of glass. Considering the 7D is primarily a still camera, the sound on the video is impressive. I would have expected it to sound more "tinny."

Btw, lovely performances.
