Acting in a moderator capacity here... uneedalife has been banned from this forum due to the verbal abuse of her posts. As I just recently expressed (everyone can read the forum rules in the first thread of the Chat about this website forum) we do not ban people from sharing their thoughts and opinions, unless the member does it abusively. Calling other members "fat blubbery housewives" and telling members to "get your fat ass of the computer chair..." definitely qualifies as abusive speech.
Also, we checked the IP address of uneedalife and we can see that she used two IP addresses, as listed below. Both of which belong to the same IP provider.
IP Address: 91.109.9.232

IP Address: 91.109.31.226
Host Name customer8155.pool1.Liverpool-MER6166-BAS0001.orangehomedsl.co.uk
We checked the IP address QueenIshtar777 used and they are as follows:

As uneedalife and QueenIshtar777 are one in the same person that means we must ban both of her user identities due to the reason initially stated. I regret that this person chose the language and tone that she did, otherwise she could be present on the forum to share her perspective...

I think that Uneedalife/Tara might be QueenIshtars daughter and therefore not the same person. Also, therefore naturally defensive.
I just wanted to post this "suspicion" so we don't have to think anymore that QueenIshtar has signed in on another account to in order to insult us undercover.

Hello Gisela,
you have a point. There is a very remote possibility that they are not the same person but neighbors or related... Anatoliy and I discussed it this morning and it would be very unfair of us to ban Ishtar since this slight possibility exists so her ban has been reversed. uneedalife is still banned.

I am Tara, Ishtar's 14 year old daughter, my resent post's were done without my mum's knowlege, i am writing to apologise if i offended or caused distress to anyone, by using offenencive language, peoples weight or proffesion has no point here.
I was very sad, and angry when i heard my mum saying what was said about her on your forum, things that arn't anything to do with dancing, such as she dosn't teach pschology, has not got a degree, does not wear knikers, laughing at her spiritual belifs ect. I have attended many gigs/events with my mum since i can remember, till recently i thought everyone loved her, thats how it seemed to me, i've read her fan mail and saw what people say, been to parties. It has been great being her daughter i am very lucky.
My mum was angry that i had used bad langugage, and was correct when she said, two wrongs don't make a right. I hoipe you get fed up saying horrible things about her, and stop doing it about other poeple as well, vunrable people have been known to kill themselves through internet bullying. I apologise for what i said, i reacted in anger without thought for people's feelings which is exactly what i've been braught up not to do.
However i am amazed that adults can use such playground tactics, irrosponsible tabloid style untruths about someone they don't know, that has done nothing to them, where they have nothing to gain.

Please try to understand - this isn't internet bullying or playground tactics, it's open discussion of materials that are in the public domain, the majority of which have been published by the artist herself. Many people feel very strongly about what professional belly dance should be about, and when things are published on the web that people have strong feelings about it is unrealistic to expect them not to voice their opinions somewhere. If you want to believe it's out of hatred or jealousy or bitchiness, well that's sad because sometimes it is worth listening to unwelcome opinions.
You can learn a lot from dancers all over the world here, with lots of differing perspectives on belly dance. I hope you can feel welcome if you want to hang around.

Thank you for your apology. My own daughter is fourteen, and I am not surprised you jumped in with sword and shield to defend your mom. I admire the impulse, if not the wording, and I wouldn't dream of holding it against you.
Tara, this thread has not been a case of a fragile, insecure person being bashed by vindictive monsters. Your mom can dish it out as good as she takes it and I don't look for her to curl up and die because her philosophy and style aren't universally admired. I personally dislike Ishtar's approach to belly dance, psychology, and the commercialization of the great goddess, but I do give her credit for inspiring loyalty in her daughter, her friends, and her fans.
I hope you and your mom will come back and add to the discussions.

In a way Tara, I hate to drag this out but I have, coming late to the forum and being from Merseydie and having pointed out the positive things I know about QueenIshtar respectfully point out the querying of academic qualifications came about because of Queen Ishtar's Youtube comments where she diagnosed a commentator as having Aspergers symdrome. As a academic educator myself, I think this is an immoral kind of action from a psychologist. And to quote you:

I am afraid that is what happens when dancers are in the public domain on Youtube which is why I would never be as brave as your mother to post myself nor would I recommend young dancers to do so. Folks are apt to say very cruel things to poeple just because they are young or old
I see one young dancer who had posted film ( and very charmng film ) of her child on Youtube and I think in this day and age it is not advisavble. Children are more vulnerable than adults.
It is really good that you see fit to say sorry and that your mother has encouraged this. So many folks would not care just leave abusive messages and go..... Happy new year to you both.
