This actually looks like she had too many items in her hands to bring to the laundromat so she tucked her sheer curtains in her hip belt. Just tacky overall in my opinion.

The person Zorba and I have in mind is a classic, longstanding dancer whose costumes are ALWAYS elegant and stylish. She's a true dancer from the old school, and this costume would blow her mind!

Shishadur (mirror embroidery) is a time-honored technique, but this costume has got so many design elements going on that mirrors just add to the chaos.
When I look at some modern costumes, I think, "Poor designers. They've employed the bare minimum of fabric and maximum of exposed skin until the only new, edgy, shocking thing left to do is design modest costumes."
