My first sagat

Hi...

After searching all over Ottawa, my brother located and bought for me two sets of sagat. According to him, he was told by the shop owner that they are "tempered Indian bronze." They look nice and sound nice to my ears. My only concern is that they are pitched differently -- the bronze cloured pair being pitched slightly lower than the silver coloured ones. Will that cause problems if I wish to use both pairs together? Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning how to play them and driving my dad and brother crazy while I practise :D <wicked grin>

Some dancers use different pitched zills on purpose - using one hand/pair for the "DUM", and the other hand/pair for the "TEK".

Zorba, my zildjians are like this -- do you know of anybody who also plays mane/female cymbals like this? I thought Jim Boz did, but I can't find video of him playing them. Do you play this way, and do you have video? Thanks!
