Mixed Booty Box

I got in on the box from tribe.net and I have to say it was great! I looked into some information on shipping, and the flat-rate box can ship internationally, so I was thinking maybe we could start one here? Getting treasures from around the world is worth the shipping to me! And, of course, people here in the US can get in on it too!


Basically, I'll start a box with odds and ends, patterns, trims, fabrics, other belly dance related goodies that I'm willing to part with. I ship the box to the next person on the list who takes what they want (no limit!) and replaces what they took with new goodies. Then it's off to the next person, and so on.

I think it would be nice to put a little tag on the items to so that we know where they came from - unless it would be more fun to come back here and go "ok

Okay I'n game - as long as no items from waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the dancebag... are included... you know the socks you put in cause the floors are cold and you stuck in your boots and back in the bag last winter...and are well - oh nevermind those sorts of things would be illegal to mail... you know hazardous material stuff. I'll ship on the 19th, so get your goodies together! Let's make sure to keep the box moving. Try not to sit on it for more than a few days. On the other box I did, there were a couple stops where there were friends and troupe-mates present when the box was received. If this happens to you, it's OK to let them in on the box. Just make sure that enough gets put back in. We need to keep this fair! Please label the items you put in, and change the size of the box if needed. Let's try to keep this dance related, but if there's something you just HAVE to share, put it in.

Can I join too? I have been eyeing this thread but was unsure that I could even afford the postage. I have sold some of my ceramics at an exhibition D yay!) so now I have a bit more room in the budget. I would love to be a part of a world-tour booty box. As I'm in Europe I could be before or after Zurah maybe? If I am allowed in, that is... pretty pleeeeaseee? ray:
