Hello everyone,
Just thought I would share this one since Valentine's Day is approaching. This is my "Love-a-lot" (named after the care bear LOL) costume that is homemade.:)

This was my second time dancing to the song. I injured myself pretty badly almost 3 weeks ago and wasn't able to dance as a result. So I am out of practice and still healing..slowly . My apologies for the repetition. But its the thought that counts right lol!

Great dance, very sweet and happy. Playful ^.^ Great costume too! I would never have guessed it was home made, its looks like it took quite a while too. I loved the care-bears when I was little =D
Sorry to hear your injured, must be boring not being able to dance! Hopefully you will get better and up on your feet dancing soon =D

You, your Mum & Grandmother are a great costume designing team! Lovely costume and you do look good in red. Well done with the dance:clap: I always enjoy watching you.

Really nice! This kind of movies always remind me of my lack of creativity in improvising or making a choreography ;)

I love it!

And I love the outfit! How many layers or skirts are in there?

Thanks everyone:)

Yes it did take quite some time to do the bra and belt, about 40 hours.. but they all seem to pale in comparison now to the Mermaid costume LOL!

And Rue, yes it is two skirts. They are both full circle skirts with a slit at each side and I just layer one over the other:) Makes it so that they are no longer see through and I like the two tone effect:D

Oooooh! I HEART Leylet Hob and totally LOOOOOVED that performance. It takes some class to get away with a huge sequinned heart on your behind. Nice work.

Great skirt colour combo too. When you do that thing that flips it up at the back (are they some kind of omi pelvic tilt thing, or is it your trademark trade secret? ;)) the white really accentuates it.

This was good...I am sorry you were injured, but I couldn't tell at all, not in movements or in your face.

I know with me...if I'm in any kind of pain I made VERY stupid faces when I dance....I either look like I'm about to stop dancing and yell at someone for no reason, or I try to cover it up and look way too happy as a way to smile my way out of pain...good thing I haven't danced in front of anyone yet, because they'd notice..

I thought this performance looked just as good as the others Ive seen of yours.. and I like the two skirts effect.

Thank you, Dear MV -- that is one of my favorite songs, and YOU are really and truly, one of my favorite dancers! Really!

I know everyone always talks about your hip work, but I love the elegance of your arms. They frame you so nicely and with so much energy. If I ever am in your neck of the woods in Canada (or, if you ever make it down to little old Virginia), I would love love love love love to spend a few hours on arm technique!

In the meantime, I will study your videos! Today's lesson: elbows up!

May you have the glorious valentine's day you deserve! <3

Oh Anala! Thank you so much:) Whenever I read a comment like this it motivates me to work that much harder. I really and truly appreciate it and really value it!

I'm flattered you like my arms. I've been the some competitions in the past couple of months and have had mixed reviews on them. Judges either love or hate them LOL. For awhile I considered my arms in limbo since I didn't know whether to believe the judges who liked them or the ones that didn't  In the end I just go with what feels most natural to me and what I feel looks flattering, but I do take all comments, good and bad into consideration and explore all options.

If I ever make it to Virginia, or you ever make it Ontario I would love to spend a couple of hours with you.
I'm easily bribed by baked goods;)
