One of the truly wonderful things about the many years I've spent on this forum is meeting people from all over the world. Once upon a time, a bunch of us who live scattered from Europe across America and to Australia got together online for a sewing circle. I believe Darshiva arranged it, but I could be wrong. We couldn't manage video back then, but we had audio and were so able to have a real conversation.
I'm trying to think how long I've been on the forum. The "official"date is summer of 2006, but that dates from a hacking incident. I'd been a member for at least two or three years before that, so I must be closing in on 20 years. Amulya was the first person to sign up for the forum, so she's gotta have 20 years by now.
