Cover Girl!

Okay, first off I am sorry for the shameless self promotion. LOL but at the same time, I'm still super excited! Sorry, can't help it!

So some of you may have heard of Mid Bits, A Canadian Belly dance magazine/publication. Anyway after 12 years, the amazing woman behind it, Mayada, has decided to shut down the press and focus on other projects and things in her life at the moment. It's sad but after 12 years and everything that she does I can understand why she needs a break. She is one of those people that you wonder if they ever sleep because she seems to always be doing something!

I was honoured, flattered and humbled to be the cover girl and featured soloist on the final issue:D

THanks everyone:)
The photo was from my first (and only so far LOL) professional set of photos. They were done by Richard Roth, Rothphoto | Richard Roth
It was actually his first time shooting a dancer, and my first time being photographed professionally lol. He is a professional photographer but focusles mainly on extreme sports/winter sports like snowboarding etc.

The one that they chose for the cover happened to be my favourite photo from the shoot:) Very happy with it.

Also fun fact. I actually went to the same private elementary school as Richard. At least now we're past making fun of one another:lol:

Wow! this is great!

MissVega,
congratulations, not only for the gorgeous photo and for the cover girl that you are now, but also for the aesthetics of the photo: yes, bellydancers can be more than sequins and beads!

and i like very much your attitude in the photo: no diva, just goddess!

Well done!
