preforming, liscences, etc etc..!

Does anyone know about liscences you might need to have if your preforming in restaurants in Canada? I know you have to be over 16, which I am, but I don't know what other requirements there might be. You'd be doing me a HUGE favour if you helped me out here!

Hi elly belly, I've performed in restaurants/clubs/bars in Canada, and you don't need a license. If you're under 18 though, you might not be allowed to perform in premises where alcohol is served.

thank you so much! yes i was wondering about that...well that might prove difficult, by alcohol do you mean none whatsoever? or just not in bars etc where i wouldnt preform anyways? would it be okay to preform in a place where they just have that sort of "glass of wine" thing going on? (sorry i just woke up, that probably makes no sense) i mean the respectable sort of places where people dont get drunk unless they wanna be chucked out

Well, premises that serve alcohol are not supposed to let underage people in at all in any shape or form. Even serving drinks, or food, or working there in any context. So that could be an issue. Otherwise it they could get fined and maybe even lose their licence.

durn thats to bad. thanks for clearing it up because i was told recently" oh if your 16 or up you can preform in places with alcohol" so i was getting pretty darn confused!
