Nous avons l'honneur de vous annoncer que nous organisons le 1er Concours Chorégraphique des Danses Orientales.

Celui ci réunira artistes amateurs comme professionnels sur une scène de spectacle.

Composés de 3 à 5 personnes, chaque compagnie concurrente sera jugée sur des critères indispensables à une création de qualité (3 à 5minutes maximum) :

- L'Originalité de la chorégraphie

- La Musicalité

- La Synchronisation

- La Technique et l'Esthétique de la gestuelle


1er prix : 2000 € Ce prix aura pour objectif d'aider la compagnie à se développer (location de salles de répétitions, costumes, décors, formations etc...). Des lots seront offerts aux 3 finalistes suivants.

Au delà de l'aspect récompense, voyez l'opportunité de montrer la richesse des danses orientales sur une très belle scène à Paris, dans les conditions d'un spectacle professionnel.

Préselections (non publiques) : 1ère quinzaine de décembre 2007
Celle ci nous permettra de sélectionner 20 groupes finalistes qui présenteront leurs créations chorégraphiques en finale.

Finale (publique): Dimanche 10 février 2007 à Paris

KuteNurse, there is no need for this post...it concerns only french dancers (am I the only here?hm, I seems so far....). And even I cannot participate because you have to travel to Paris for preliminary.
Just don't bother with it, although it annoyed me that the post is in french (but then, French avoid english(or any other) whenever and wherever they can...).

It seems to be a legitimate contest so it stays for those who both can read the post and are interested in possibly participating.
If Foune would like to post a traslated version I'm sure there may be more intrest generated for their competion, but that is the posters call.

Howdy being an international forum somtimes members use their native tongue and that's ok. It does limit the amount of response to those posts/threads but it's ok to do here.

Thank you, Salome, and everyone else. I know you probably meant well, KuteNurse, but as it was pointed out, this is an international forum, and not everyone can read or write in English. As a person of French heritage myself (as well as Irish and Mexican), I've read in my study of bellydance that the French have had an influence on the dance, as well as other countries. Even though the number of French-speaking members here is probably limited, we need to bear in mind that this forum is made up of citizens from many countries, and not just the United States. Salut!

It is great to know I can use my native language in this forum if I need to. Since there are some other latin american members here, I was wondering if I could write posts to them and share experiences, but I did not want to offend or upset those who don´t speak spanish so now I am comfortable about the subject

I speak some french and I could translate if you ladies think is worth it....

I know there are other Dutch speaking members here, but I prefer speaking with Dutch bellydancers on a Dutch forum. I speak English here, because I like it when everyone can understand what I'm talking about.
