Update on my students dancing for a local arts group: they did a beautiful job and their audience (mostly ladies who will never see fifty again) loved them, loved the music, loved the dance, and were delighted with the departure from our usual programs. It was the first solo for one of the dancers, but I suspect the response of the audience means it won't be her last. Almost every member of the arts group turned up for the show, and a couple actually called to say they were sorry they had to miss it because they heard such good reviews.
I LOVE it when my students do well! How on earth can teachers NOT want their students to succeed? Last edited by Shanazel; 09-11-2007 at 07:17 PM. |

Congratulations Shanazel, please tell your ladys from me, another dancer who heard about their wonderful experience that I'm very happy for them .. "getting out there" is so thrilling and dreading at the same time, the adrenaline is a full on pump and it's that pump that is the addictive part :-)
