I don't know anything about the book or author, but......
I wonder if the person who put the video together had to pay for any of the photos, especially the one of the beautiful Jewish actor guy.... I can't think of his name right now. His last name, I think is something like Ded and his first name might start with an F. He played in one of those Mummy movies as the leader of the Bedouin. I wonder if he knows his image is being used in that clip....
I am very sensitive about all that kind of stuff right now because my dance company is going to soon make a 3 minute promo video and I am going to have to come up with some cheap music!!

Well from her website, she's been dancing since 1990, or at least that's when she first took lessons.
DeAnna Cameron
At first, I thought romantic rubbish, then I thought could be interesting, but then at the suggestion that she somehow becomes a modern bellydancer and runs away with arab, who treats her as equal all in 1895! I thought romantic rubbish again

As a Bhuzzer pointed out, was it for real? But seems so. Sounds lie a holiday read but hey ho makes a change from the murderous books I usually read.

Most likely.
It does feature Alexandra Queen of England (wife of Edward VII), with Princesses Victoria and Dagmar, as the “Fair’s Board of Lady Managers”!

Dear Mya,
I think so, too. He even looks great with short hair! I hope he knows and approves, because I think that ethics, if nothing else would stop someone's using an image or music or any kind of thing like that without permission. It IS a long and expensive process to take someone to federal court, but still. Also, re the copyright having run out on the older photos, I am not up on what happened, but a couple of years ago there was a move to extend old copyrights for another hundred years. At the time I attended a couple of seminars on copyright stuff as I was trying to understand the ins and outs of it all for my dance company's benefit. I will soon have to deal with the music copyright issue again myself unless I want to just use an older piece of music from someplace where copyright laws were not in use at the time. I have tons of old Gulf and Saudi music and I will probably use some of that just to not deal with it. I will ask someone who reads Arabic to tell me if there is any copyright on it, etc.
