From the London Times, August 15, 1922:

"Millionaire's Son Sued

New York, Aug 13

Miss Fontaine, a well-known Oriental dancer, is suing Mr Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney, son of Mr Harry Payne Whitney and grandson of Mr Cornelius Vanderbilt, for alleged breach of promise, claiming £250,000 damages"
