She, or her admin, recently added herself to our instructors directory. She is based out of Paris but is originally from Lebanon? Anyone know anything about her? Amelia Zidane I'm always interested in hearing about dancers coming out of Lebanon.

I think Zidane is an Algerian name. As in Zinedine Zidane, former captain of the french football team (currently we have the Euro Cup showin here...)

algerian from Grenoble. It says in her bio that she then moved to Paris and was discovered.

Amelia Zidane (if it's indeed the same one I'm thinking of) was one of the instructors and trainers and I believe also one of the judges at the recent LBC Hizzi Ya Nawaem World Bellydance Championship in Beirut. There´s plenty of videos of her on YouTube, not only of her participation in the competition itself as trainer and judge, but of her dancing as well.
I was under the impression that she was Lebanese, I may be wrong though.
