Thank you Yshka! Yes he will perform here, I can send you the mail about it.
Kutenurse the judges say: -man with moustache: wow! Now, actually I don't really now what to say now. -woman: I do. -man with moustache: Did Gerard see you already? (Gerard is a homosexual singer) -Rachid: yes -woman: Well, I think you look great, so go for it. after dancing: -man with moustache: I thought this was great entertainment. A gorgeous costume, nice movements. What I miss with this movement (he attempts a shoulder shimmy) are the breasts, right? That's what I miss a little bit. What do you think about it? -man with sunglasses: For me, there was only one reason I pressed (the red cross), because I can see Gerard is also human and I think I had to free him from his suffering. I thought also, I have to watch out now because it's almost horney, ehm... -woman: woooooooh! -man with sunglasses: I think, what you do with your body is phenomenal. -woman: I thought it was great. I've enjoyed it. You're beautiful and I like it there is also some bellydance for the ladies now to look at. -man with sunglasses: not only for the ladies. -man with moustache: Henk-Jan (man with sunglasses), what's your judgement? -Henk-Jan: I say yes. -woman: I say yes. -man with moustache: I say yes. -Gerard: You made it. -Rachid: Yes. -Gerard: Did you expect it? -Rachid: Ehm... -Gerard: Did you do this before because you can do it very well. -Rachid: Yes... -Gerard: Don't be so shy now, there's no reason for that. You were great, I enjoyed it a lot. -Rachid: Thank you. -Gerard: See you next time, good luck, bye. Voice in background: Rachid won't be quickly forgotten. |

I meant more, that it's kind of obvious he's done it before. It just reminded me of a question I was asked.
I performed a few months ago and one girl said afterwards that she thought it was really good and asked if I had taken a class. Grrr!! I was like: "Eeeeh... YEAH.. three times a week for four years!!!" OK I exaggerated a bit but I was annoyed that she thought it didn't take anything to get up there and dance.

Yes, I've watched the show!!!
Rachid Alexander's shimmies blew me away. Even my husband was like 'Wow, this guy can move!!! ' I can't wait to see him in the next round, I hope he'll do more than just shimmy though. I'd like to see more of his talents!!The second I saw Gonda, I thought Rachel Brice. Nice fakir act, but again, I'd like to see more in the next round!! |

Makes me wonder if people think getting belly dance is sort of like getting religion- you wake up one morning, God points her finger, says, "YOU!" and you go into estatic shimmies. |

![]() As for Rachid, he seems cool... A bit shy though, or am I just imagining. And that headdress fits him perfect...

When I first saw him dance I expected him to be a bit of a diva, but seeing him on the show I felt he was indeed quite shy and I actually liked the way he was, more than I'd expected.
I hope to be in touch with him for some classes soon hehe . |
