Default I want to learn how to dance.

I want to learn how to dance. I am the worst dancer you can imagine, but I like to do it anyway. I have fun and it would be more fun if I were any good. Where can I find a place to learn how to dance? I will grateful for your information.
Thanks!

Shira has a vast list of dance instructors:

Belly Dancing Lessons: Find A Teacher Or Performer

Along with her articles on finding and evaluating a teacher, that's as good a start as any I know, without you telling us where you live.

Well then you've come to the right place. If you do tell us where you live though (country maybe or province) we might be able to help you find a teacher nearby.

Goodluck on your search!

P.s. Asim is right, do read Shira's articles on teachers, they will be a great help to you.

Dear Crestive,
Where you live and what style you are interested in learning will play a big part in who you study with. Look for dance styles on YouTube or other video that appeals to you in order to see different dance styles, You may change your mind later on in the process of learning, but go with a style that you like and work from there. If you tell us where you live, we may be able to come up with suggestions as to who is good in what styles in your area.
Regards,
A'isha

Although it now needs a little updating, I wrote some notes on finding a teacher some time back: Finding a Teacher. This may help your search.

Hey, there are a lot of studios, dance clubs almost everywhere you can find and even too many effective programs available in the market that can help you but I would suggest you for a very good book “Think like a champion dance like a star” written by Grant Davies. It helps to create magic in dancing and many other activities that are very essential for amazing dancing. Hope this will help you. Best of luck!

Hey Crestive,
Why did you create two profiles and the exact same post twice in one day?

I guess self-cloning is just the latest thing - looks like susane and darrenBoss have the same affliction.
