What a great thread. A floaty happy fluffy sanctuary for when we've been spending too much time having heated debates.

Beautiful virtual cake Moon - happy 500th!

Here is a happy omen from inside the lid of a pot of chocolate mousse.

Wow! Pretty cakes!

Happy fifth hundreth post Moon! Lol. Doing well aren't you?

Here's my happy song- well it's not happy, but it makes me think of being in the moors when I was littler cause I lived right next to them and mum would take me walking across em, cause we walked everywhere! Lol. It's also from my fav film ever! Secret Garden! Which is why it reminds me of moors.

I like the Linda Rondstadt version better though. :p

Good call. It's threads like those, where everyone's trying to get one over on everyone else, that have made me take a break from these boards every now and again, and always make me paranoid about posting in case I get shot down for having a view!

LOL, I actually tried this today, didn't work for me I'm afraid, as I ended up finishing it off with "...and NOW get out of my way!!" or "I wish you happiness and wish you would shut up!"

hmm, think I have an attitude problem but will try it again when I'm not so grumpy!

Default And for those who say I'm cocky...

Here is a virtual photo of me with a couple of my fans. I call it, "Mahty mahty Ri-co and his little belly dance chicks."

Sara, have you seen the musical "Secret Garden"? It is wonderful- even my musical-hating musician husband enjoyed it. The songs actually move the story forward instead of it seeming like someone says, hey, let's stop the story for a minute while we all sing and dance.

A friend of mine died of breast cancer in January. Now, lest you think that it a downer in the midst of all this light, let me tell you that I cannot think of Mimi and do anything but smile. No matter how sick she was, whenever you said any version of "Hi, how ya doing?" her answer was invariably, "Life is good." I cannot tell you how many of us now reply to the same question the same way: life is good.

(Rick, your rooster picture brings a number of very rude remarks to mind- I hope you appreciate that I am not making any of those remarks in print!)

Thanks for the restraint Shanazel. I've had my quota for the year...just in the past week!

Chocolate mousse reading??? That's great! (What is more important for a good life than chocolate?)

Hiyas Shanazel ( Isthere anyway to shorten your name? Lol) Can't spell it

I'm sorry to hear about you friend. My best/oldest friend died on Christmas, and I'm so glad I have a bright outlook on life. As much as I miss her, like the six week hols I've just had without, I realise now how much she taught me and how much she meant to me. But I always remember that, like your friend sounds, she was a very brave strong person, and I think it could have rubbed off on me.... hopefully.

I tell you what I have. I have a wall in my room filled with photo', so when I wake up, I can see me all over the place and I realise how good life is....

Lol- Joking. But seriously. I have my friends and family on the wall and bits and bats, and it's nice to wake up to, cause it's my Happy wall!

Elle: I must admit, it took me ages, and today I lost my nerve a little bit and wanted to have a flashing sign over my head saying " A2- get OUT of my way"

The new years are throwing themselves into the middle ofthe corridor. Like going to market. Everyone stands like 2 meters away from the stalls, and you can't get past!

It makes me smile... and so does Last of the Summer wine, and it's on! I love that program. My fav is the reyt Yorksha one who sez Thee and Tha'll and Thas. Reminds me of me grams, I practically live there now as well.
