I have a difficult enough time eating any meat other than chicken and bacon (which I'm addicted to). Lol. I'd have a tough time. Not very adventurous with meat. Veggie stuff I'm okay. I'll try anything, but not meat, or seafood (which I know is meat, but some veggies will eat that and not other meat.)

Hmmm hard to say.
I did eat snails which tasted like garlic soo maybe... However, as long as there is something else to eat I think I would choose that first.

BTW, would you eat as much chocolate if it tasted like roaches?

Ugh, ugh, UGH! Why am I still reading this thread? Do I detect a heretofore untapped vein of masochism? If one knowingly eats a poisonous bug and dies can the act be called insecticide?

Last year when I was in Cairo, we were in Felfelas resturant in downtown when someone screamed and sent for a waiter... there was a roach on their plate!!!

I only go to Felfelas if I am in downtown as it is Ok, it is mostly a tourist place. I always thought of it as a clean safe place in Downtown compared to a few others but... I check before I bite now!

Well the roach was just not fully cooked, if it was cooked right you would not see any thing.

you name it Cairo, Paris ,NYC or London they are all the some. believe me ...

I do! but sorry, cooked or not I think I would notice... AAAH! they make me sick.

We have an Egyptian restaurant in Liverpool UK and I can say hand on my heart that we do not have roaches or any other kind of beasties.. phew.
