When I bought this computer because of all the 'sacry stories going around about vista i actually asked for XP but the model I bought from Dell wasn't designed for XP and because i really wanted that particular model I bought it with Vista business, As I said previously took a couple of weeks to work some things out, but I love vista, it really is amazing, transfering data etc from xp to thenew 'puter was an absolute breeze not like transferring from 98 to XP at all, and things like auto back up, are great, you don't have to remember you set when you want to do it and it works quietly in the background, same with defrag and things like that. The media centre is better than TV and I for one am very happy I changed to Vista. I seem to be the only one here who likes it though

Dear Mosaic,
Both Tony and Tom of my computer experts love Vista, too. Terry seems to prefer XP. I still feel pretty lost and I can't run my media center very well. I also do not know how to do a lot of things with my computer. It just is not one of my areas of expertise. Of course, I also can barely run my television
(can't figure out the DVD part at all on it), after three years I finally figured out how to take movies with my camera, I can barely figure out my Go Phone which is supposedly the easiest cell phone out there...... it goes on and on. I am a techno-moron, or, I guess we could use the more polite tern and call me a Luddite, but it sounds so very NOT post-industrial!!!
Regards,
A'isha
