Thanks for this. I found out a few months ago that the head of Jazeera English is a scouser (from Liverpool). We get everywhere you know.

How do you even begin to find out things like that

It's called Scarabic!

A friend of my husband works for Al Jazeera English.
He called him as they were making a documentary about the Luxor Massacre in 1997 etc.
When Sherif told him he now lives in Liverpool his friend was shocked as his boss (who is the head) was also a scouser. Typical is all i could say. sometimes scouse adventures go wrong, look at poor Ken Bigley!
