Thought this might be interesting.
To share the places we have been, or wish to go and why.

I’ll start.

I have been to;

England. To visit my mum’s sister and mother
Scotland. To visit my dad’s sister and brother
Holland, It was a short term stay on the way to England
Singapore It was a short term stay on the way from England
New South Wales (Australia) Family trip
Queensland (Australia) Family trip
Northern Territory. School trip
Central Australia. School trip

I want to visit;
California. I have a friend there
Russia. To visit the Tzar palace
Egypt; Isn’t it obvious? The pyramids and the sphinx of course!
Budapest; The architecture.

Hiya~

Been to: England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Nova Scotia, Hawai'i, Key West, Mississippi, New Orleans, Georgia, Maryland, Washington DC, California, Oregon, and pretty much all states in between!

Want to go: everywhere!! I want to go back certain places, want to see Dubai, Cairo, Istanbul (obviously!), Greece, as much of Africa as possible, all over the Caribbean, the small islands of the South Pacific, Thailand...

This list could go on forever.

Been to Japan, US, UK, Canada, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Australia, Singapore, Hawaii - did I ever tell you all that I was an airhostess at one time?!!

Where I'd LIKE to go - all over NZ (well, I have been to all the airport destinations, but I want to go again and again and again)
And all of the international destinations, but especially Japan, and India (where I grew up), and anywhere in Asia, anywhere in Europe - especially Italy, Spain, Greece!!!!!! (I have a distant relative in Athens), and North and East Africa. Actually, probably anywhere in Africa, although preferably when it's a bit safer - same goes for the Middle East...
I'd LOVE to go to Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Lebanon - the history of all of these places is so much more ancient than NZ which is such a new country!!

Well, I drove 45 miles to Douglas, WY yesterday- does that count?

I haven't been out of the country much: Canada, Mexico, and Ireland, plus an endless and airless wait in Heathrow that I hope never to repeat. Have been in every contiguous state west of the Mississippi except Minnesota, plus Mississippi, Alabama and Florida and Illinois, if you count several hours in the Chicago airport. Pretty boring travel history compared to you globe trotters.

I would like to go back to Ireland and to Alaska and to the Maritime Provinces in Canada. I'd also like to see Greece and New Zealand, but that is unlikely to happen, so I'll just read your stories about your homelands and look at pictures instead.
