Ah...there is no greater bliss than sleeping in and awaking with a Chihuahua on your face, a huge cat on your feet and another between your knees...that's my idea of dressing in fur...

Why did I sleep in? Because I could.
Why?
Because as of today...I am OFF for TWO WHOLE BLISSFUL WEEKS!!!!
No gigs...no classes...no private students, no alterations, no workshops, nuttin. Just me...and the world as my oyster.

Do I sound a bit too gleeful? Perhaps...but I have been working 12-15 hour days 6-7 days a week for MONTHS. Literally...and I'm exhausted.

Between the social obligations of the holidays and the extra bookings for shows & party appearances...I'm just beyond tired.
One of my students was exceptionally generous and booked a massage for me at a very upscale spa...I am in heaven!

I had a holiday party for my advanced class...I received some positively wonderful, heart-touching cards, gifts and generally BIG smiles all around!!!

I'm going to have lunch, then head back to bed and put that Chihuahua back on my face...
It's the most wonderful time of the year...I hope it is for you all as well! Happiest of holidays!

Awww...I hope you get some much needed rest over the holidays! I have a whole week off of work too. I am looking forward to resting and relaxing a bit also.
