Default Brag about your children

Hey,

I thought it would be fun to brag about our children/grandchildren thread.

My 18 year old son just graduated from high school. He was a very good student and I am very proud of his achievements. He cycles and he wins races. He really wants to become a professional cyclist one day. With his drive and energy he puts into cycling...I believe he has a good chance.

Hello ladies, this is Moon's mom:
Wow Kutenurse, I'm sure your son will do great because he has such a great mother who believes in him and supports him.
My douchter Moon is also a good student, she is so smart! She's also learning bellydance now and I make pictures when she's performing. She's a great, beautiful person!

Hello, this is Shanazel's mom.

Don't blame the results on her father and me- we raised her right, but she made a hard left at some point!

my middle child (just got straight A's her sophmore year in college) qualified for the "study abroad" program & is moving to Paris for her Junior year!

my 1st child has about 2 years left to go for her teaching credential (& is drop dead gorgeous.... but brags that her mom can still shake it better than her!!!)

(for some reason, none of my female ancestors (though arguably sharper than some of their men!!!) actually completed college.... & I only went as far as an "AA")

my "baby", just turned seven year old, still holds my hand when we walk to his class room.... & he got teased (only once!) & said.... "well MY mom's a belly dancer!!!!" (at least HE didn't say... "my mom can shake it better than yours"!)

He is a good head taller then both me and my hubby which makes me real proud cos all the girls love a tall boy, lol ... my girl is just gorgeous and has no interest in bellydancing !!!!! can you believe it !! lol She prefers to play hockey and netball :-) and wants to be a witch like the Charmed girls...

Now is the time to really brag... whew, my mother in law is 82 and has come to live with us... My kids, both teenagers have no qualms whatsoever about this, over the years she has always come to stay with us, dueing their school holidays, as well and they were the ones put out of their beds (well the daughter anyway) for Nan to sleep on, while daughter was put on a mattress on the floor. LOL, While working out the rooms, I have/had a bellydance room and was quite peeved that I had to give this up and my son, 15, piped up with, "Mum you don't have to give your room up, my sister can stay in my room and my top bunk" hahahahahahaha, OMG how sweet is that !!! lol naturally he would have killed her the first night... We have 5 bedrooms one was a dance room and the other is chocker block full of stuff that goes in a shed, IF we had a shed !!! looks like that shed will be coming soon though cos half of this stuff that mother bought along will not fit ...

But my kids do me proud :-) I raised two very loving children !!

The gentleman next door recently turned 80. My fourteen year old daughter made three cakes before she got one she thought was good enough to take to him (her family got the rejects, which tasted good, but looked too bedraggled for Vern!).
