I agree I watched the movie at last and I found it pretty cool. Very well made, despite the brutal scenes of the fights. And historically more accurate than I had expected, despite the exaggeration of some parts. And, to be honest, I don't understand why some people find it offending. If you want to see it as a parable, you could interpret anything into both sides. Come on people, it is just a movie, nothing more and nothing less

I just saw the movie again on cable tv. The war scenes were dramatized and made for younger kids, but the movie as a whole, was a good history lesson and pretty accurate with history books.

I absolutely loved it! I thought the storyline was very good and pretty accurate, and it was very entertaining as well.
