Default Drum rhythms

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to learn more belly dance drum rhythms, and of course there are going to be ones that I've never heard of before so I figured I'd appeal to everyone here!!

So could everyone post every drum rhythms they've heard of (with a little Doum Tek description, and a little info on where it's from if you can!!) and lets see if we can cover everything!!!

Hi
You can search on internet (google) for arabic rythms.
you will find the most common rythms there and also with some samples with the actual sound

have a nice day

One of the most comprehensive albums I have found for rhythms is T Roy the Drummer's "Drum and Dance: 30 doumbek rhythms". It's available on iTunes. My only issue is that I personally think the rhythms are a little over-embellished for demonstration purposes, I think I would like them a little a little more 'stripped down'. That could just be me though!
