This was on Al Jazeera Documentaries channel about a month ago. If anyone here is dying to see it lol, you can contact me I'll try to send you the file

. I wouldn't even call it a documentary, it's about 3/4 an hour snipits of interviews with a bunch of artists, many whom I've never heard of. I don't understand why out of all the singers in the Arab world they would pick Saad El Soghayaar, when they could have brought in Fadl Shakir for example, someone with REAL talent and a voice. If you can tell, this isn't the best documentary.

Funny you should mention this, I was wondering how Saad El Sorghaya and Ilham Al Madfai could be part of the same venture. They are so radically different. Ilham is an extremely respected artist in a very different way from Saad.

Fadl is fabulous, I am on a mission to see one of his concerts again very soon.
I am usually in Cairo every year for my birthday, for just one year I dont go and he is doing a concert on my birthday at the Opera with Elissa!! FFS..AAH.

By the way, I picked up on Ilhams biography on this website and found the way in which it was written 'very interesting'.
To me this sort of reads...'he is on our side'mmm...

Who writes this stuff??
