Somewhere out there is a fast version of this song. I have it on a couple of different albums and it's played at a medium tempo. It's boring at that pace after you've heard the fast version. But for the life of me I can't remember what album it's on. Anyone have/know of this, or a, fast version of salamat ya om hassan?

Hi Salome,
hmm, I only know one version (another I have on a compilation but I think the tempo is not really different) from the "Bellydance... At it's best" album (a bdss production I think). To me that one soudns quite fast. Is it the one you mean? Hope this helps! Ill try and find the other version I have and see if I can find out anything about it's original album. |

I like this song too, they always play this for me when I dance to live music.
