If you need help on straightforward cutting in garageband, shout - anything more technical is beyond me. You can drag & drop from itunes to garageband from memory, so nice & straightforward. The bar at the bottom shows you the 'shape' of the sound, the 'doms' in the music are really clear to see, so try to cut using those as your markers. Good luck to ya!

Wow! I just dragged and dropped (didn't realise you could do that), and you can do loads with the track! I couldn't get the track in there in the first place. Thank-you - I've been wondering for about a year
