Hi everyone,
I have heard a song I really really totally love. It's a popsong. My confusion: I do not know the title and do not recognize the singer, I thought at first it was Nancy Ajram, but somehow I can't find anything by her that is THIS song. I caught some of the lyrics as being "bass bass bass (??)... ana ana ana ana aamel eih........(...) ana ana oullouh eih" Sung by a woman with a very sweet voice. If this makes sense, would anybody happen to know this song? Asi uses it also I think, I heard it in one of his workshops but there was no time to ask about the song. |

It's hard to tell without hearing the melody, but it seems like it could be Nawal Al Zoghbi's 'Dal'ouna' (check it out here, last in the list Nawal Al Zoghbi - Nawal Al Zoghbi Classics #01CG1000639) to see if it's the same... hope this helps

Hey Zurah, thanks but it's not Nawal el Zoughbi.
It's a really fast popsong, it sounds Lebanese'ish like Nancy's songs, and the woman has a high, sweet voice, that's why it reminded me of Nancy but I don't think it's her for sure... The intro starts with the woman singing "Aaaaaaaaaah... aaaaaaaaaaaaah...." I know that sounds weird, but I need to find it . |

You're welcome Yshka!
![]() Ought to make up some self-serving mystical twaddle here about burning incense and doing an ancient trance dance of the priestess with lots of snake arms...But actually I think I Googled ana ana ana eih and a few other words I picked out and fished about a bit. Sometimes I just can't resist a nerdy web-challenge ![]() |
