There are also a lot of terrific modern (but not techno!) songs on Putamayo's newest "Turkish Groove" CD.
Classics like "Bir Demet Yasemin" Chiftitellis with taqsims are great for veil or floorwork. "Ya Mustapha", "Shisheler" are also classics!

His new album is sold out anymore.

There was a gossip that he was a gay, but he was so annoyed when he heard it.

His new album is addictive O_o

Maybe you could try Gokhan Ozen?
He has good music, its not so techno though I'm not sure if it's ideal to dance to :P
