Default Need help to identify a song....

Hi everyone!

I am new here, my name is Melanie and I live in Ecuador. Iīve been learning BD for one year and a half and I absolutely adore it! It is one of the best things that could have happened to me

I need your help identifying a song, it was used in my dance schoolīs presentation last december. It was danced by an advanced level and they used veils, it was so beautiful...

Our school gives us the CDīs with the songs we dance in class and the presentations, but they put an ugly voice recording over them, supposely to protect themselves from former students that are giving classes after only taking a couple of levels, it doesnīt make sense to me, because anyways we can download tons of music on the Internet but anyways...

Of course I donīt understand arabic, and we donīt get the song titles or singer names, so my dance buddies and I, have to listen to zillion of songs hoping to find the ones we need. But this one, has been impossible, so maybe one of you can help me

Here is the link

4shared.com - music and mp3 sharing - download Velos - Danzas Arabes.wma

Muchas gracias!!! I am really happy to have found this forum!

Melanie

Hi Melanie,
that sure is an annoying voice-over

I know the song, it's so catchy. Can't find the cd right now but I'm quite certain that it is Shereen with the song "Sabri aleel". I think also it says "Gahr Tani" on my compilation but dont know if that the album the song is taken from.

Good luck with finding the song
gisela

Yes,

Here's a link to maqam.com where you can see her album. It is called "Gahr Tani". You can also listen to snippets of the songs.
