Default Simon Shaheen

I just saw him perform on violin last night accompanied by Najif Shaheen (his brother) on ud and Michel Merhej on riqq and frame drum. He was great! He did one Farid al Attrache song and some of his own composition.

Hi Cathy.

Simon Shaheen is great musician! I have a CD of him on which he plays pieces of Mohammed Abdel Wahab in his own interpretation and it is FANTASTIC!!! I had bought it at the beginning of the 90ies, but I'm afraid it is not available any more.
