you could upload the mp3 if you like. That would come in handy . If I don't know which rhythm it is, maybe when the mp3 is up, somebody else could provide some clarification too. That might really help.I'll look forward to the mp3. Thanks! |

The track starts out with some variations of masmoudi.
The first major rhythm change is to a 6/8 of some kind. Don't know the name of it, but this section is unusual not only because of the 6/8 but because the phrasing falls in groups of 3 or 6 measures, which is very unusual. Usually Middle Eastern music has phrases of 4 measures, including most pieces I have heard with 6/8 or other unusual time signatures. I don't have this track on my home computer, but I think it is more or less like the version on 1001 nights. After the 6/8 section it goes back to masmoudi Sedonia |
