Hello everybody, just wondered if anyone might be able to help me get hold of the original version of this song. I have the pop version but would love to have the original, like the one fifi dances to in her lycra ski pants!! Anyone know who the original is by?

I know there's a non-pop version of it on the alabina album. I think it's called "Lolai(ya habibi ya eyni)"

How about the one by Maya Yazbeck (or Yazbek? spelling?) It's Lebanese and I suspect it's pretty old.
It's amazing and I love it. Too bad I only have a copied cd of this that is quite poor quality.

I would like to know which album the one by Maya is on. Does anyone know (sorry, short thread hijack lol

Dear Taheya, you're a gem, that one actually doesn't skip during the "lalalalalalala.." part. I was so happy to hear!!! I have been wanting to perform to this song for so long, but I could not dance to the damaged one copied off a really old Lebanese cd.

Better yet, when searching an Arabic music forum I frequently visit I found another upload of this song just now which is MUCH better quality than the one off Abusora (not sounding like she's singing out of a well, if that makes sense).

I will upload it to my 4shared account and pm you the link
