Johnny Rivera is the Best Salsa Music

hey whats up guys I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of Johnny Rivera? He is a salsa singer from Puerto Rico and he's actually really good. He's been around for a while, and come out with a few albums in the past. My co-worker told me that he is coming out with a new album on may 8th called "Vivo Por Ti". he produced the entire thign himself and from what I've heard on his myspace its going to be really good. I am no stranger to salsa having grown up in Brooklyn, NY and being of the same ethnic origin as Johnny.

This is why I call myself "sultan" as my hometown of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico is nicknamed "la sultana" or the 'female sultan'. By this we mean to say that we love our home town so much that we ascribe to her the greatest possible attributes by equating her with the most magestic, most dynamic, most gifted, and most blessed woman in the world -- God's greatest gift to humanity -- the Daughters of Mohammed!
