Hi all, Im looking for some baladi music, doent matter if it is long because i can trim the music accordingly. Has anyone got any recommendations?

There's a 12 minutes baladi piece on the cd "a rough guide to bellydance" and I've 2 other songs, one 7 minutes and one approximately 10, which I could send you if you like, then just send me a pm.

For me the 2 best cd i have with baladi music are both from Hossam Ramzy.

There are 2 lovely Egyptian beladis on our latest CD, Dancing with Genies. One is short, under 3 minutes, the other is about 7 and includes a small drum solo.

Yasmina (of Cairo) has one very nice one in her newer CD Heya Di Yasmina - Balady. Layali Yasmina is the older one, which Bellaraiza already listed.
