Greetings, all you lovers of Arabic music and dance! I'm a retired dancer with a beautiful, small, Egyptian oud that I no longer play. It has quite a lovely sound for an instrument of its size, which is perfect for a woman (the larger ouds tend to slip off my lap like an ice cube). Beautiful mother-of-pearl inlay around the sounding holes and on the fingerboard. Not sure about the body, but the neck is rosewood. It comes with a wonderful, hard-shell carrying case that I had custom made so that I could travel without worrying about my instrument getting damaged--very snugly fit foam interior lined with dark blue velvet. $300 for both instrument and case, obo, cash only.
