Hi Ink, Sorry I have been on holiday's myself. Drove up to Sunny Brisbane (near the Gold Coast.) Had a wonderful holiday with my daughters.
Thank you for commenting on our costumes, they are just a tiny amount of costumes we have. I have lot's of different colours, styles, belts etc..
Lot's in Beautiful shades of purple. I have just purchased a georgeous beaded yellow belt with red, orange and blue tassles. It is just sensational!!! Looks amazing with any coloured bra and skirt.

I teach a couple of classes here in Echuca, but also am constantly travelling to w/shops to learn from others. It's wonderful I have danced for about 12-13 years now, and I am still learning wonderful new movements, styles, costumes etc... I just love this beautiful art, and I'm so hungry to learn more.
This forum is wonderful! I've learn't so much from Ladies here. Especially the cultures where the dance originates from. It's great.
So you've been to Aus. Feb/March are Beautiful times of the year here. It can get extremely warm though.
I'm about 2 hrs Nrth of Melb. Country town on the river. We do lot's of water skiing, fishing, boating etc...

Can you post some of your costumes? I love the colour and material so prevalent in India.
Whilst in Brisbane, we saw a mum and her 2 daughters, mum was wearing the georgeous Sari (is that right) and the young girls were in dresses, but the brightest blue and pink, with jewels sprayed across the material. WOW. My daughters who love "Bling", were just mesmerised by these beautiful little girls. It was lovely to see.

Yes, Ink, you're right. We're just neighbors. The Philippines has its own charm, warmth (of the people; the weather is hot! hehe) and beauty. Downsides are the corruption, pollution and heavy traffic during rush hours. Hope you can share photos of your belly dance classes there. The skirts I love the most are those made in India and Nepal so you won't have any problem looking for pretty outfits for your belly dance lessons since those beauuuutiful skirts are just right at your doorstep! Hope you can sell some skirts
