Hi,

I'll be going by my dance name here, so I'm Sidra. I've been belly dancing for roughly 4 years and perform with a local student troupe here in Saskatchewan (Canada...this is easily the most international board I've encountered!). In my non-bd life I am (in no particular order) a civil servant, an ardent feminist, a first-time homeowner, and a bit of a hermit.

Hi Sidra Nice to know that there are still ardent feminists - especially as things seem to have gone backwards again for so many women in the world

We're still around. I belong to a couple of feminist communities online, although I'm not as politically active in real life as I was when I was younger.
